Job Openings Inch to 11.2 Million, Show Labor Demand Still Strong

The number of job openings was little changed at 11.2 million on the last business day of July, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today.

Unemployment rates were lower in July than a year earlier in 383 of the 389 metropolitan areas.
